Todd
has lived in several areas of the country. Although born in upstate
New York, he claims to be an Oregonian. Prior to coming to the
SHN, Todd’s most recent research was with a team of researchers
at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. It involved the evaluation
of self-governed substance abuse recovery homes. His undergraduate
research includes the evaluation of a Therapeutic Martial Arts
anger management program at the Community Correction Center in
Hillsboro, from which he gained an interest in restorative justice.
His other research has examined the transition from community
colleges to Portland State University. Todd will serve as a research
associate at the Self-Help Network has he continues his graduate
studies.
